Position: Unarmed Security Specialist – Mobile Patrol
Location: Port Sulphur, LA
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of client sites to monitor access control points and verify credentials, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
• Reporting: Utilize digital platforms to complete equipment checklists and document incidents accurately.
• Communication: Maintain hourly check-ins via radio and promptly report any security concerns.
• Training: Participate in mandatory ongoing physical and mental training programs to uphold SDI's security standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensing: Possess a valid unarmed security guard license.
• Transportation: Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic tablet and smartphone applications.
• Background: Maintain a clean criminal record.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, traverse long distances, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Weather Resilience: Capable of working in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Drug Testing: Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Preferred Experience:

• Security or Corrections: Minimum of 1 year in unarmed security or corrections.
• Law Enforcement: At least 1 year of experience.
• Military Service: A minimum of 3 years of service.
• Customer Service: 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.

Certifications:

• Driver's License: Valid and unexpired.
• Motor Vehicle Report: Clean driving record required.

Employment Details:

• Type: Full-time position.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off. Day and night shifts available.
• Probation Period: Initial 90 days.
• Benefits: Eligible after 60 days of employment, including dental, health, life, and vision insurance.
