This position is responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: He or she works with other IT streams and functional business clients to:

Essential Job Functions

  • Administer and maintain SAP Ariba security, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system.

  • Collaborate with IT and functional teams to define and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Define and maintain user roles, permissions, and access controls for SAP Ariba modules in alignment with organizational policies.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP Ariba security configurations, incident response procedures, and security policies.

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.

  • Stay current with industry best practices and security trends, applying relevant updates and improvements to the SAP Ariba/SAP Fieldglass platform(s).

  • Provide guidance and support to end-users on security-related issues and best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure configurations for SAP Ariba & SAP Fieldglass.

  • Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement remediation measures.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP Ariba security, configurations, processes, and procedures.

  • Stay informed about SAP Ariba & SAP Fieldglass product updates and implement new security features as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience

  • Expert-level SAP Ariba/Fieldglass/MDG Security Administrator

  • Minimum of 8 years IT experience with 5 Years assigning and troubleshooting security in SAP Ariba, SAP MDG, SAP  S/4 or ECC, CRM, BW, Portal, PI, and other SAP systems.

  • Expert knowledge of SAP application & authorization security, implementation methodologies, role-based access controls, and information security management principles.

  • Able to identify and communicate issues and risks to the business or project owner to facilitate timely resolution.

  • Advanced knowledge of risk management and incident response procedures.

  • Ability to work with functional teams and other SAP colleagues to gather requirements, design and present solutions, and build security models that meet requirements while conforming to enterprise guidelines and policies.

  • Proficient in IT security controls/ SoD concepts with the ability to drive security role remediation plans for audit and compliance related findings.

  • Ability to communicate with parties within and outside own discipline.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with different teams.

  • Experience developing SAP security administration reports and utilities.

  • Advanced experience supporting end-to-end SAP Security project implementation, security, testing support, cutover preparation, and hyper care activities.

  • Generate access review documents and support internal and external audits.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight from manager.

  • Availability to support off-hours work as required, including weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on-call responsibilities.

Desired Qualifications

  • SAP Ariba certification is a plus

  • Experience with EIM/SailPoint is a plus

  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM change processes

  • Remote to Puerto Rico only (Resources need to reside in Puerto Rico)
