Quality Information Systems Intern

Job Description:

The Quality Information Systems (QIS) Intern is responsible for assisting the QIS department with ongoing upgrades, process improvements and initiatives. The position will learn and understand the basic concepts of the Syncade MES, Freeweigh and LIMS SampleManager systems.

Responsibilities:

• Upgraded Resource Editor files within Syncade MES.
• Complete configuration and setup of the latest Freeweigh version installation.
• Perform static data transfers.
• Assist with database (SQL) maintenance /resolution activities.
• Assist / perform hotfix updates within the Syncade MES.

Qualifications:

• Computer systems knowledge
• Understanding of XML, SQL
