As a Network Security Engineer within our Advanced Solutions Team, you will work closely with a cross-function group of teams at ALLO and will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients' IT networks and systems by delivering industry-leading security solutions tailored to their unique needs. You will work in a fast-paced environment where you'll design, implement, and manage advanced security architectures, continuously monitor for threats, and provide expert guidance to mitigate risks. This position emphasizes collaboration with clients, proactive threat hunting, and real-time incident response to ensure optimal security for a diverse portfolio of organizations.

Your role will involve managing multiple client environments simultaneously, leveraging advanced tools and systems to detect and mitigate potential threats, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. As a key member of the team, you will also contribute to service enhancements, client reporting, and process improvement to enhance our security service offerings.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain security architectures, including fortigate firewalls, access management, secure layer 2 switching solutions and wifi implementations.

  • Stay updated on emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices to continuously improve security measures.

  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Assist clients in complying with applicable regulations and best practices.

  • Occasionally work outside normal business hours to oversee maintenance window activities and on-call support to maintain services 24/7.

  • Manage multiple conflicting priorities & consistently meet deadlines.

  • Monitor network health & availability and identify service trends/problems.

  • Plan system capacity for security components.

  • Strive to make a difference through continued self-improvement.

  • Organize & implement special projects as required.

  • Document and provide training when new policies, procedures or regulations are implemented.

  • Cross-train teammates and serve as their resource on core processes.

  • Maintains hassle free service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as per needs of the business.

EDUCATION:

  • 4-year college degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field and/or equivalent experience.

  • Fortinet FCP Network Security or FCP Security Operations certification desirable.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years’ experience in network security

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Presentations and Facilitation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Raise objects up to 25 lbs.

  • Ability to communicate information.

  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand.

  • Ability to operate a computer.

  • Identify different colors.

  • Valid Driver's License.
