MAJOR FUNCTION:

Inspira Health is seeking an experienced IT Manager of Networking to oversee the robust infrastructure supporting our 4-hospital system. The ideal candidate will possess advanced engineering and architectural skills, ensuring the development and maintenance of secure and high-performing networks. Responsible for leading a diverse team of engineers, the role encompasses strategic network design, LAN/WAN connectivity, security implementation, and technology research. With a focus on stability, reliability, and performance optimization, the Network Manager will provide proactive management, troubleshooting expertise, and ensure comprehensive documentation to support mission-critical services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred, or Electronics Engineering and Telephone Engineering preferred.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex network solutions, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security
    infrastructure, ideally within a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
  • Experience in managing diverse teams of engineers, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of network projects and operations.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in network security analysis, design, and implementation, including familiarity with industry-leading firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, and best practices for securing healthcare data and systems.
  • Experience in managing relationships with network technology vendors, evaluating new technologies, and making strategic recommendations for network enhancements based on business needs and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing the implementation of large-scale network infrastructure-based projects.

Certification/Licensure:    

  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer CCIE preferred.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP required, or employment is contingent upon the candidate obtaining the CCNP certification within one year of start of employment.
     

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve network hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to mission-critical services and operations. 
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams of network engineers, with a track record of success in driving projects to completion and achieving organizational goals.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for interacting with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors, as well as for documenting network designs, procedures, and standards.
