Job Description Summary

Daher is looking for a Sr IT Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at our headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.This position is responsible for protecting the organization’s information systems and data from security breaches and cyber threats. This role involves implementing security measures, monitoring network traffic, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry and company standards, with a specific emphasis on Microsoft Azure environments. As a Cybersecurity Specialist you will work with end-users to ensure the security of endpoints and mobile devices. You will be expected to participate in meetings, training sessions and security project planning as needed. Additionally, work with regional and international teams to help proactively stop cyber security threats and monitor systems to ensure security.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats.
• Implement and maintain security controls in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Security Center, Intune, Azure Entra Suite (Active Directory, PIM, Conditional Access, etc.), and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Assist in managing Office 365 product suite.
• Work with Information Security teams to help coordinate and improve security standing.
• Contribute to Security Services Support and Security Incident resolution.
• Respond to security incidents in Azure and help conduct investigations to mitigate risks.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Assist in developing training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the security of on-premises and cloud systems.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Assist in regulatory compliance audits and ensure adherence to relevant laws and standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining documentation of security incidents, actions taken, and outcomes.

Profile and other information related to the position

Position Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments, including security controls and hybrid environments.
• Working Knowledge of Administrating Office 365 products such as Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange is required.
• Able to conduct research into Cyber Security trends, issues, and products as required.
• Additional experience with automation, networking, or infrastructure administration is preferred.
• Experience working with NIST best practices, ITAR, DoD, or other government related restrictions is a plus.
• Ability to work with and simplify complex topics for end users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to simplify complex cybersecurity topics for non-technical stakeholders.
• Some travel required as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The work environment is well lit and air conditioned.  Primary office is fast-paced and high-traffic.  Regularly will be required to go into the hangar section, which is loud and protective eye-ware required.
