Work directly with the IT Manager and individual users, AND will have the ultimate responsibility for the continuous support of all corporate end-user devices and by virtue the first line of defense when issues arise for end-users,, SaaS systems, and office productivity hardware. The Information Systems Specialist will be in charge of issue intake and triage, escalating issues when necessary.
Position Responsibilities
- Uptime of company SaaS applications
- Management of Office Security systems; enrolling and un-enrolling users
- Internal corporate infrastructure and services
- Technical support and problem resolution of all desktop, SaaS software, and corporate conferencing equipment with participation on 24x7 on-call.
- Collaborate in determining and implementing desktop security policies
- Strict enforcement of company device & software security policies
- Maintain thorough documentation of office tech use & troubleshooting as well as other basic troubleshooting guides, software installation tutorials, and any other support or informative documentation
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth implementations of new software/hardware deployments
- Work with vendors for hardware procurement, support, and recovery
- Purchase and manage the delivery of equipment for incoming new hires, laptop replacements, and upgrades
- Deploy new hardware and core software configurations
- Manage the hardware replacement cycle; Asset Management
- Manage hardware/software upgrades via MDM tool
- Maintain and improve capacity metrics and reporting
- Maintenance of software catalogue working with software procurement team
- Troubleshoot & triage all hardware & software issues
- Manage spare part & office peripherals (keyboard, mice, video cables, dongles, etc) inventory
- Assist in new office build outs / moves
- Create and maintain SaaS documentation, runbooks, and inventory
Position Requirements
- Experience in internet based corporate experience
- Strong familiarity with MacOS, Windows OS, and some Linux OS administration
- Strong understanding of SaaS tool administration
- GSuite Admin, IdP administration, MDM administration are all highly desired
- No so much the specific tools but the fundamentals behind IdPs & MDM management
