POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

Position Title: Information Systems Administrator I                                Date: 2024

Department:   Information Systems                                                        Status: Non-exempt

Reporting To: Information Systems Supervisor                                      Pay Grade:  7 ($21.98-$32.96)

                      

POSITION SUMMARY 

The primary function of this position is to develop, enhance and support the software and systems within the Credit Union.  Requires working collaboratively across the departments and with associated vendors.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Adds, updates and removes user account information across the different vendor platforms
  • Works with new and existing vendors to install, set up, update and maintain the platforms
  • Assists with troubleshooting issues with end user setup and processing
  • Perform development and production testing and report findings on new and existing software solutions
  • Responds to help desk support requests
  • Works with vendors and Managers to implement new software solutions, manage changes/upgrades and resolve issues with system software
  • Assists with implementation of new solutions after hours and on weekends as needed to reduce the impact during production hours
  • Ensures that the systems work efficiently and reliably
  • Works with IT and IS to support system updates, patches, and configuration changes
  • Creates, maintains and supports documentation of all systems
  • Provides support to other Information Systems team members
  • After hours maintenance, support, and upgrade processing required
  • Required to participate in First Source Federal Credit Union events as well as designated Community events
  • Required to attend or participate in necessary compliance training
  • Required to attend training sessions as appropriate. 
  • Required to travel as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years related work experience
  • Familiarity with current vendor platforms
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communications skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast paced and everchanging environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours
