Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in the search for an Information System Security Engineer resource to join their team as a hybrid resource in the Fort Wayne, IN  or Braintree, MA area. This successful resource will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security controls for classified information systems.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in configuring and managing secure networks and systems
• Conduct routine security assessments and vulnerability scans for classified systems
• Participate in the implementation of security policies and procedures specific to classified environments
• Monitor and respond to security events and incidents within the classified network
• Support the accreditation and certification processes for classified systems
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and security controls
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve security issues
• Participate in security awareness training for system users

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of professional experience
• Experience with Promax, Portainer or Docker, Reverse proxies, DNS, Wazuh, and firewalls
• Working knowledge of network security, operating systems, and cybersecurity policies
• Adhere to all security protocols and procedures related to working in a classified environment
• US Citizen, ability to obtain a higher-level security clearance

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and other relevant security standards for classified systems
• Basic knowledge of security tools and technologies in classified environments
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Understanding of risk management frameworks

TERMS:
