The Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst specializing in compliance to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure our security practices meet all regulatory and compliance requirements. This role involves monitoring compliance, conducting audits, and implementing policies to safeguard our information assets.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., CJIS, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Coordinate audits (e.g., ISO, SOC) of products with external audit providers
- Conduct internal security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks
- Monitor and report on compliance status and security metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security controls are in place and effective
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches, ensuring proper documentation and reporting
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance requirements and best practices
- Stay updated on the latest regulatory changes and security trends
- Assist in the preparation and submission of compliance reports to regulatory bodies
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in information security compliance roles
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., CJIS, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Proficiency in security frameworks and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM
- Experience with compliance management software
- Knowledge of risk management and incident response
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations
