Information Security Analyst

Job Summary –

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for protecting the hospital's confidential data, systems, and networks from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of information security principles and best practices.

Regulatory Requirements

• Associate degree in information security or related field
• Security+ or relevant security certification
• 2+ years’ experience in information security

Language Skills

• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Proven ability in assembling, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Demonstrated analytical ability in preparing reports and gathering statistical data.
• Able to synthesize information and knowledge as a key component of critical thinking and decision making.
• Ability to take direction and work independently.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
