The Squires Group is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to support a critical federal program focused on providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes.
Work will be performed ONSITE in Arlington, VA. Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizen, possessing a Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.
Support Security Standards & Baselines (SSB) implementation and maintenance.
Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
Apply broad cybersecurity knowledge and promote best practices.
Communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Research emerging threats and document findings.
Mentor team members and share expertise.
Develop security bulletins, alerts, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Recommend secure configurations for new and existing technologies.
Provide clear guidance on technical and policy inquiries.
Collaborate across teams and maintain open communication.
Drive process efficiency to support mission objectives.
Organize and manage documentation in SharePoint.
Stay engaged with team activities and provide backup support.
