Cognito, LLC seeks an experienced Software Developer (Applications) with knowledge of planning and implementation to provide operations and maintenance support for intranet webpages developed in SharePoint 2016, provide ongoing maintenance for existing intranet features, as well as sites migrated to SharePoint Online and applications and migrated to other NSF Platforms (SharePoint online, ServiceNow, Drupal CMS, etc.). This work will involve minor enhancements to the existing applications as well as bug fixes and other minor changes.

The Computer and Information Systems Manager/Team Lead provides high-level expertise in developing complex applications and sites using SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online, and other platforms employed by the National Science Foundation. S/he will define functional requirements based on business needs, produce, and maintain detailed technical documentation, and provide user support on technical issues. Provides project plans, and weekly and monthly status reports. Directs the completion of tasks within project estimated time frames and project budget constraints. Perform a variety of complicated tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and will be considered the top-level contributor/specialist on the contract. Requires 6-10 years of current experience in the field or in a related area.

Candidates with strong consulting experience with governmental agencies are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter that can perform well independently, interact with clients professionally, and collaborate with diverse internal and external teams. The candidate will be responsible for prioritizing and driving team performance as well as being the primary interface with the customer. The candidate must demonstrate leadership in an Agile software development environment.
