POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a key member of the Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborating closely with the Executive Team. The CIO is responsible for developing ,executing and updating the organization’s IT strategy to enhance operational efficiency, support clinical excellence, and drive innovation. This role oversees the integration of technology solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with current needs and future growth. The CIO leads the IT team and vendor partnerships, manages all electronic health record (EHR) systems, and ensures compliance with industry standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in healthcare technology.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Information Technology or a related field. A Master’s Degree in related area or in healthcare is desirable and preferred.

Approximate percentage of time incumbent spends in “on-the-job” travel, excluding commuting to regular work location: 20% travel, mostly between work sites.
Working Conditions
Office is generally kept at a good temperature according to thermostat set for building, is well lit and not exposed to outside weather/climate. If not careful, incumbent can be cut while working on computer hardware from sharp metal edges. Also, incumbent can be injured by not lifting boxes properly. Carpal tunnel syndrome is possible, as well as back pain and tired eyes from working in front of a computer all day.
