Position Summary: |
Responsible for maintaining the security and safety of actively participating students and staff during the program operation, assisting with student transitions and coordinating the dismissal and transportation for the students transition home. |

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities / Position Requirements: |
Education and Experience: · A high school diploma or vocational school training · At least one (1) year experience in armed security or sworn law enforcement assignment. · Ability to remain calm during a crisis. Certificates and Licenses: · Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License. · SBBC security training or Certification as an ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) · First Aid and CPR It is the responsibility of the Security Specialist to complete and maintain all necessary certifications, within the proper time frame, as set forth by either the licensing agency, State of Florida or the YMCA of South Florida |
