KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Senior Software Developer, to join our team. This position supports a contract in St. Inigoes, MD and is an on base position.

This position will perform research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs. This position will analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. This position will also update software or enhance existing software capabilities.

Education and Experience: - Master’s degree in a Technical discipline combined with a minimum of 10 years of experience, and at least 6 of those years must be in software development or programming of Combat identification (CID) systems (i.e., systems used in the process of accurately identifying objects in a combat environment to make real-time tactical decisions).
- In lieu of a Master's degree a Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted combined with a minimum of 14 years of experience, and at least 6 of those years must be in software development or programming of Combat identification (CID) systems (i.e., systems used in the process of accurately identifying objects in a combat environment to make real-time tactical decisions).
Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to be issued a Secret Security Clearance.
Compensation:
While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.
