Senior Cloud Security Engineer

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will help shape and implement our cloud security strategy and controls. You will be a founding member of the cloud security team at Roblox, and you'll have a big impact on how we secure the platform.

You will be part of the Platform Security team, reporting to the Director of Platform Security. You’ll work closely with other people in the Information Security (InfoSec) team as well as cross functionally with the hybrid cloud engineering team.

You Will:

• Create security policies and partner with our cloud engineering to implement and enforce the policies you've written.
• Write detections for our cloud environments to identify when something has gone wrong in collaboration with our detections team.
• Build tools and automation to help secure our cloud environments in a scalable way.

You Have:

• 4+ years: of relevant professional experience.
• Experience writing and maintaining: code in at least one programming language such as Python, Golang or C#, and you are eager to learn new languages and technologies.
• Deep understanding: of cloud service architecture and cloud security concepts.
• Familiarity with: with container security.
• Understanding of: network security concepts and best practices, and how to enable cloud resource connectivity safely.
