Responsible for all technical configuration, service, repairs & replacements (RMA where applicable), system management and administration for parts of video, alarm, and access control. Additional duties may be included but not limited to research & design for security equipment as well as security hardening of that equipment.
This role will work closely with the Video Monitoring Supervisor to ensure that the Video Monitoring Center (VMC) is technologically kept up to date with services and access to respond to analytics faster and more accurately. This person will support the VMC and the VMC supervisor on all needs technical. This person will support the Senior Manager of Security and be a critical figure in physical security for CMC. This person will be part of the Video Management Team and perform all configuration, management and logging for cameras, thermals, analytics, LPR, wireless, firmware, adding/removing cameras, layouts, high heat detection, maps, and general video needs for the corporate video management system(s). This person will be responsible for service and maintenance for security and video equipment. This person will need to be detailed in recordkeeping as well as documentation for hardware. This person will be a subject matter expert to the company as it pertains to security, safety and operational use of cameras, thermals, video, alarms, and access control hardware. This position requires 3-5 years of experience with cameras, and VMS applications. Thermal & video certification(s) is a plus. This position will work closely with the network team to ensure that video and other security equipment does not become a strain on the CMC network and that the network team understands the growth needs of security hardware in the coming years.
