Key Responsibilities:


In this role, you will be responsible to provide advanced technical leadership for complex project work, including functional subsystem upgrades for mission-critical network, security devices and services. 


Additional key responsibilities include: 



  • Architect, security of network, maintain, and continuously improve IP network by considering issues including performance, availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.

  • Troubleshoot Carrier/Service Provider (routing and switching via SD-WAN) networks: Including the methods used to support services in the carrier space - SD-WAN, MPLS, SIP, PRI, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QOS, IPSLA, DMVPN etc.

  • Generate and maintain the virtual private network, firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco), web protocols and email security decorum.

  • Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.

  • Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all network resources, key processes, reviewing logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.

  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.


Desired Skills:



  • Expert knowledge of core routing and switching design principles, best practices, and related technologies.

  • Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.

  • Good knowledge in Network security products such as checkpoint firewall, Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco ASA, Fortinet Firewall, Forcepoint Firewall

  • Experience in configuration and administration of the firewall components such as MDMS, Security Gateway, Smart Dashboard, Smart view Tracker and Monitor.

  • Experience in implementing and managing voice over IP (VoIP) systems desired. 

  • Develop requirements for firewall rule implementation including source and destination IPs, Ports, Transport Protocol

  • Designing, implementing, managing, and supporting Service provider/Enterprise level IP networks that include support of a heterogeneous distributed desktop computing environment required.
