Essential Functions
The University of Nebraska at Omaha Department of Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis ( ISQA ) invites applications for a full-time instructor in courses that serve multiple majors within the College of IS&T, such as IT ethics, introduction to information systems, and others. We seek a candidate with a strong professional record, previous experience teaching and developing curriculum at the university level, and a commitment to teaching undergraduates of diverse backgrounds. The instructor will participate in the on-going evolution of the course curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices. On-line and face-to-face instruction are expected. This position is for a minimum of three semesters: Spring 2021, Fall 2021, and Spring 2022 and then renewable annually thereafter contingent on satisfactory performance, sufficient enrollment, and available funding. Duties include teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students; contributing to the diversity, inclusion, and equity efforts of UNO ; and providing departmental, university, and professional service.

Required Qualifications
Successful applicants will hold a master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Science Education, Cybersecurity, and/or related areas, by the time of employment.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their doctorate
