Who are you?

You are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to grow your career. C&N is seeking a detail-oriented Information Security Analyst I to join our team. In this role, you'll help monitor, analyze, and protect our digital infrastructure from security threats. Working alongside cybersecurity professionals, you'll identify vulnerabilities, investigate concerns, and support critical security operations. You will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring & Investigating: Oversee security systems, analyze security events, and investigate potential threats.
  2. Logging & Threat Analysis: Review daily logs, document anomalies, and assess security event data for risks.
  3. User Access Management: Handle provisioning, deprovisioning, and ensure proper access permissions.
  4. Vendor Security Oversight: Support vendor management, review documentation, and track compliance.
  5. Security Operations & Support: Assist with security applications, respond to support requests, and escalate complex issues.

Requirements:

Education & Experience – You will need an associate’s degree in a directly related field AND 1-2 years of experience in information security/cybersecurity and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred certifications (or willingness to obtain within a year): Security+ and CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+).

Upon successful completion of your training requirements with our Information Security Team in Wellsboro, PA, and meeting the eligibility criteria for our Flexible Work Arrangements Program, you may be approved to transition to a remote work arrangement. The required training length will be dependent on the chosen candidate’s prior experience and/or learning aptitude.

Skills – You should possess well-developed abilities and a proven track record in the following areas:

  • Proficiency in security applications and ability to identify security threats.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
