Mayland Community College is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Cybersecurity Instructor to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) division. The instructor will help students deepen their understanding of cybersecurity principles and develop practical skills to advance their careers in the IT and cybersecurity industries. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, committed to student success, and skilled at fostering a hands-on, interactive learning environment.
Under general supervision of the Dean of the Division or the program coordinator within that Division, the faculty member teaches assigned class loads and serves as faculty advisor according to the rules and procedures of the College. The faculty member will work at least 40 hours per week including instructing courses, maintaining posted office hours, evaluating student work, preparing for the courses, and fulfilling other duties as needed. These positions may be nine (9) or twelve (12) months positions.
