- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Location: Northeast Minneapolis (CityView)
- Salary Range: Starting range $300,000-$350,000 (Where an applicant may fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience & education)

Key Responsibilities
Strategy Implementation
- Develop and implement an IT infrastructure that allows MNGI to reach strategic goals and company-wide initiatives, utilizing technology, automation and systems to create efficiencies that support company goals.
- Create an IT plan that compliments the overall strategic plan. This includes overseeing the deployment of critical systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), telemedicine platforms, and patient scheduling solutions, as well as ensuring that all IT operations comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and HITECH.
- Act as a key liaison between IT, clinical teams, and senior leadership. Ensure that technology solutions are developed in partnership with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes and clinical workflows.
- Effectively communicate the impact of technology initiatives on patient care and business operations to the board and executive leadership. Translate complex technical information into strategic insights that support MNGI’s goals.
Management of Resources
- Lead efforts to integrate technology solutions that enhance both clinical workflows and patient engagement, including the adoption of advanced EHR systems, telemedicine, patient scheduling systems, and data analytics.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Attract and retain top healthcare IT talent and ensure continuous staff development through training and certification.
- Define IT performance metrics based on the organization’s overall objectives; control performance objectives and IT budget.
- Identify redundancies in current systems and develop initiatives that streamline technology and provide standardization while managing expenses.
- Manage relationships with external IT vendors, particularly those specializing in healthcare technology. Evaluate and implement third-party systems that align with MNGI’s healthcare objectives. Maximize the effectiveness of vendor relationships by assuring value and negotiating overall cost savings.
- Research and implement new IT solutions and technologies based on the organizations needs.
- Participate in organizational policy development as a member of the senior management team. Develop and lead policy development as it relates to Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other information management and technology-driven health care innovations.
- Represent the organization from a technology perspective to partners, coalitions, government and community organizations and technology trade groups; play a vocal and visible role.
- Works with physician leadership and professional management staff to create and maintain a work environment with high morale and productivity.
- Conducts regular meetings with staff to provide coaching, supervision and communication.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure all IT systems comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant standards. Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect patient data and ensure the integrity of healthcare systems. Maintains education and knowledge and is well-versed in IT security to understand the omnipresent risks of cyber attacks and breaches of patient data.
- Oversee the execution of IT projects that impact clinical and administrative functions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with MNGI’s goals. This includes overseeing patient-focused initiatives like the self-scheduling project and telehealth services.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO, senior management and board of directors related to compliance activities and potential risks.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration or related field.
- 10 years of IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a healthcare environment.
