Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service in an institution dedicated to undergraduate and graduate education. The candidate will be expected to perform university, public, and professional service as part of the workload.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications required are a Ph.D. in Information Systems (IS) or a terminal degree such as DBA or DSc in a closely related field from an accredited institution. ABD will be considered for this position. Evidence of successful defense of the dissertation must be received by July 31 for a fall hire or November 30 for a spring hire. The applicantβs academic concentration, research programs, or professional experience should be in areas directly related to IS, cybersecurity, and/or business analytics. Applicants must be able to demonstrate teaching excellence at the collegiate level along with a strong commitment to high-quality research in the field. Relevant teaching experience at the university level in the field of IS, cybersecurity, and/or business analytics is expected, along with a record of on-going research activity leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals. The successful candidate should have the ability to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Fall 2024 is the proposed start date; however, the department will consider a Spring 2025 start date.
