The Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities (DSOHF) is currently seeking an Administrative Specialist I for Cherry Hospital one of its three state psychiatric hospitals. The Information System Services unit supports the staff, patients and visitors by providing the tools and technology necessary to deliver the essential services to improve the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians.
The position is responsible for the efficient management of ISS resources, ensuring smooth scheduling, coordination, and compliance across various IT functions. This role will oversee ISS resource scheduling, manage call routing, coordinate meetings, track staff training compliance, assist with contract renewals, handle hardware and software procurement, ensure security form compliance, and maintain device inventory. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and administrative skills to support the ISS department’s administrative and operational needs.
